Dr. Ferland offers VECTRA 3D FACE SCULPTOR SIMULATION:NOSE, CHIN and EAR SHAPINGRhinoplasty is the medical term for a 'nose job'. Rhinoplasty is a frequently requested procedure of the patients I see in my office. Patients often ask to have the nose 'made smaller', 'take the hump away', 'make the tip finer' and the nose 'narrower'. These are all taken into consideration in preparation for surgery. My goal is to change the nose to where it is in better proportion to the face, producing a pleasing appearance. Some individuals achieve their optimal results by adding a chin augmentation as seen in the Vectra 3D simulation animation. Otoplasty is the medical term for pinning the ears back surgically. Adults as well as children benefit enourmously from this classic plastic surgery procedure. Earlobe repair is done in the office with a small amount of local anesthetic injected in the torn earlobe. A partially torn as well as a completely torn earlobe caused by an earing can be repaired with beautiful end results. |
